Association of Religion Data Archives
Open-access. ARDA collects quantitative data sets for the study of American religion. The site is a place to locate data files for topics of interest, rather than a place to read the results of surveys. When you search under a topic, you can review the results on-line or save the survey questions to a "Question Bank" to construct your own survey.

ATLA Collaborative Digital Resources Project 
Open-access. Woodcuts, photographs, slides, papyri, coints, maps, manuscripts, and other media relevant to teaching learning learning in theological education.

ATLA Religion Plus Database(EBSCO Host)
Broad coverage in all areas of religion and theology. This is a great database for starting your article research. Also, use this database for articles on a particular Bible passage. || ATLA tutorial

Biblindex
An open-access index of biblical references found in Jewish and Christian literature, as well as in Western and Eastern texts of Late Antiquity and the early Middle Ages, in order to renew the study of the interpretation and history of biblical texts.

Bibliography of the History of Art
Open-access. The Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) is the world's most comprehensive bibliography of scholarly writing about the history of western art.  BHA includes articles from over 1,200 journals.

Brill Books and Journals A large collection of ebooks and journals on religion. The books are also linked in GRACE and Summon.

Christian Periodical Index (EBSCO Host)
Provides indexing for evangelical Christian journals providing both articles and review indexing. 

Corpus Thomisticum
Open-Access database includes: a full edition of the complete works of St. Thomas, a bibliography covering all the studies on Aquinas and his doctrine, an index of the main tools of Thomistic research, a database management system, implemented to search, compare, and sort words, phrases, quotations, similitudes, correlations, and statistical information, a digital edition of the main manuscripts of Aquinas' works. In Latin and other languages. Some English translations may be found on the Internet Archive's Open Library.

Digital Karl Barth Library
Includes the English translation of The Church Dogmatics, and the original German version, Die kirchliche Dogmatik. Also included are the first 45 volumes of Barth's Gesamtausgabe, plus seven additional German works, and English translations of thirteen important texts.

Digital Scriptorium
Open-access image database of medieval and renaissance manuscripts. Consists of around 8,500 color images from the U.C. Berkeley and Columbia-affiliated libraries, as well as the Union Theological Seminary (NY) and the De Bellis Collection (CA).

Digitalia Hispanica
GTU Library subscribes to the Philosophy, Psychology and Religion and mythology e-collections, which provide users with access to thousands of foundational theology and religious studies texts in Spanish from publishers in Spain and Latin America. The e-books can also be found in the GTU Library catalog. Please note that you will need to create a free user account on the Digitalia Hispanica website to download a maximum of 5 e-books for offline reading. Users will need to use Adobe Digital Editions to read the downloaded e-books.

Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL)
A collection of reference works that can be searched collectively or individually. Includes the Encyclopedia of Religion, Encyclopaedia Judaica, Encyclopedia of Islam and the Muslim World, and more.

Open-access database that provides free access to documents, articles, essays etc. in theology and ecumenism.

GTU ProQuest Dissertations and Theses
Search for and view recent full-text dissertation and theses from GTU students. All dissertations and theses are available in print.

Index to Jewish Periodicals (EBSCO Host)

A comprehensive full-text article database used by millions for research, teaching, and learning.  The GTU subscribes to the following collections: Arts & Sciences II, III, V, VII; Language & Literature. Note: many journals do not have the most recent 5 years included.

Library of Latin Texts (Brepols)
Library of Latin Texts (former abbreviation: CLCLT) contains texts from the beginning of Latin literature (Livius Andronicus, 240 BC) through to the texts of the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965). It covers works from the classical period, important patristic works, an extensive corpus of Medieval Latin literature as well as works of recentior latinitas.

Loeb Classical Library Online (Harvard University Press)
The digital Loeb Classical Library extends this mission into the twenty-first century. Harvard University Press is honored to renew James Loeb's vision of accessibility and presents an interconnected, fully searchable, perpetually growing, virtual library of all that is important in Greek and Latin literature. Contains more than 520 volumes.

Loebolus- Loeb Classical Library Public Domain (free access)
Open-Access, Links to the Loeb Classical Library texts in the public domain and freely available online for download, list compliled by Charles E. Jones. GTU also owns many of the Loeb Classical Library texts in print.

LSJ-The Online Liddell-Scott-Jones Greek-English Lexicon

Luthers Werke  This edition reproduces the Weimar Edition in electronic form. The Weimar Edition, which is regarded as a monumental work in the field of theology and the German language, was first published in 1883 and includes 127 volumes. The English translation is also available online. 

New Testament Abstracts (EBSCO Host)

Qu'ranic Studies Online (Brill) For those performing Qur'anic exegesis or looking into Islamic history, theology or law. In addition to a collection of sixty two 16th-19th century korans, this database collects the Encyclopaedia of the Qur’ān, Dictionary of Qurʾānic Usage, Encyclopedia of Canonical Ḥadīth, and Concordance et indices de la Tradition Musulmane.

The open-access worldcat.org version is the easiest to use, but additional advanced features can be found in the first search version.
