GTU 2020: Resilience & Reflection

Thursday, June 18th 2020 to Thursday, August 20th 2020

In the summer of 2020, CARe stepped back from our regular exhibition schedule to focus inwards on our own community - Graduate Theological Union students, faculty, and staff. We created an online showcase of the resilience all of us showed in the last few months by gathering together reflections, photos, artwork, and more.

This online showcase was intended to be fun and engaging, but most importantly focused on uplifting one another by sharing from our lives off Holy Hill.

We also created a special section, Black Lives Matter. This page offered a space for GTU community members to offer reflections, comments, poems, pictures, and other expressions related to the institutional racism in the United States which has been laid bare by the recent murders of David McAtee, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, Ahmaud Arbery, and so many others, at the hands of the police.
