The most surprising discovery for David Rosenberg-Wohl during his research into the life of Jews in Italy for a recent museum exhibit was the ambiguity of Jewish life in the Renaissance-era ghetto. A joint Graduate Theological Union/UC Berkeley doctoral student in Jewish Studies, Rosenberg-Wohl was given the task of curating “Forging Italian Jewish Identities 1516-1870” for the Museo ItalioAmericano in San Francisco. Over time the Graduate Theological Union and UC Berkeley have confirmed their relationship by developing two programs for cross-registration that reflect the mutual respect which they have for each other and that create extensive opportunities for the exchange of ideas, enriching both the UCB students and the students in the GTU community. About Charles S. McCoy Dr. McCoy (1923-2002) served for 33 years as the Robert Gordon Sproul Professor of Theological Ethics at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley before he retired in 1992. In addition to a long and distinguished career as an internationally recognized theologian and ethicist, he was instrumental in the creation of the Graduate Theological Union and its Center for Ethics and Social Policy. Mandatory Drug-Free Notification

The Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989 (Public Law 101-226) requires all schools receiving federal funding of any kind (i.e. CWSP, Perkins Loans) to notify all employees of the following on an annual basis: The Graduate Theological Union and its member schools require that their campuses be drug free.
