The Creatives’ Cove student group, the brainchild of GTU alum Dr. Mwaabi G. Mbûûi, is a retreat space for artists and art-lovers of all interests and abilities to converge and create within an atmosphere of trust and playful abandon.
The Creatives' Cove has the following objectives:
- Provide a space for creatives to connect and engage collaboratively
- Foster integration of academic responsibilities and creative impulses
- Serve as a conduit for bridge-building and border-crossing conversations
- Facilitate the creation of meaningful relationships
A typical Creatives’ Cove meeting can include a wide array of creative activities and off-site visits to local arts institutions.
