First Unitarian Church of Oakland
August 30, 2016, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

All are invited to join Starr King School for the Ministry for their 5th annual Symposium: a day of study, music, dialogue, ritual celebration, food, art and community-building. Symposium connects all of Starr King's students, faculty, staff, trustees, graduates and communities as we cultivate multi-religious, counter-oppressive, just and sustainable communities.  This year’s honored teacher is Dr. Ysaye M. Barnwell, a former member of the a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock. Registration is $125 per person, and open to the general public through August 19th.
