Spring 2022 Virtual Open House

IBS is pleased to offer a Virtual Open House on January 26, 2022. Come learn about our stackable curriculum, degree and certificate programs, financial aid and more!

IBS alumni Rev. Blayne Higa and dharma teacher and chaplain Dawn Neal will speak about their educational experiences and answer question.

Dean Scott Mitchell, Sōtō Zen Buddhist Studies Certificate Program Director Rev. Dr. Daijaku Kinst, chaplaincy program coordinator Chenxing Han and Shin Buddhist Studies program coordinator Rev. Harry Bridge will also be available to answer questions about the application process, school culture, tuition, differences between programs, and course offerings.

The agenda for this event is as follows:

  • Opening and introduction to IBS programs, application process and financial aid
  • Presentations by Rev. Blayne Higa and Dawn Neal
  • Breakout rooms with program coordinators (prospective candidates can choose who they’d like to meet with)
  • General Q&A and closing
