The Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir was founded in 1986 and is led by Emmy-winning Artistic Director Terrance Kelly, who is an accomplished director, composer, arranger and popular soloist with an operatic range and joyous emotional feel. They deliver good news – the power and glory of 55 talented singers blending their voices together in rapturous harmony on gospel standards, traditional spirituals, and their own original praise songs.

Since the award-winning choir’s inception, it has adhered to a well-defined mission: “The mission of the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choirs is to inspire joy and unity among all people through black gospel and spiritual music traditions.”
