Mid-Autumn Cultural Festival Celebration

Friday, September 13th 2019, 6:00pm to 8:00pm
2465 Le Conte Avenue Berkeley, CA 94709

Mid-Autumn or the Moon Festival is one of the most celebrated festivals in China, Korea and Vietnam. It takes place on the 15th of the eighth month on the lunar calendar when the moon is the roundest and fullest during the year. It symbolizes a time of reunion of family, thanksgiving for the harvest and the nature. You can also come with your traditional attires from your native lands and share your unique culture! Meet at the outdoor entrance of the LeConte GTU building where we will have some simple food, and will have moon-cake and green tea as desserts. This event is sponsored by Asia Project at GTU.
