A Discussion and Celebration of Youth Ministry

Saturday, April 13th 2013, 2:00pm

Research suggests that a majority of Christian youth doubt their faith, but few ever talk about it. They are often left on their own struggling with religious doubt.

Youth ministers, clergy, seminarians and laity are invited to the first Youth Ministry Celebration Day, sponsored by CDSP and the Diocese of California. Well known  speaker, Andrew Zirschky, will present his research and offer suggestions for using doubt to engage youth, followed by a panel discussion of local youth ministry leaders.

This event will be followed by a reception honoring Kellor Smith, Director of Youth and Family Services at St. John's Church, Oakland noting her three-decade record of life-changing work and her co-creation of the original Confirm not Conform curriculum.

Symposium Registration cost: $10.00, reception, free
