Beginning in 2020, the GTU will oversee the publication of the quarterly, peer-reviewed journal Teaching Theology & Religion. The journal’s content will focus on teaching methods that are interreligious, interdisciplinary, international, and feature integrated modalities (technology). In addition to continuing to longer articles on various pedagogical issues, book reviews, and “In the Classroom” essays about concrete practices, the revised journal will include a new section reviewing developments in learning technology. Online access to the journal and its back issues (published under the Wabash Center’s oversight through the end of 2019) can be found here.
In preparation for the first issue of Teaching Theology & Religion under GTU leadership, the editors are seeking essays exploring questions related to the theme of “Interreligious Pedagogy in the Twenty-First Century.” The deadline for completed manuscripts for Volume 23, number 1, has been extended to November 1, 2019.
