The next time you are in the library, take a look at the microform (microfiche and microfilm) area on the first floor. Most of the previous readers/printers have been sent to electronic recycling. The newer remaining reader/printer that was connected to a computer has been moved and can continue to be used to view and print fiche and film. The Walter & Elise Haas Fund has provided funding to the GTU in support of the Madrasa-Midrasha Program, a collaborative interreligious effort cosponsored by the Center for Islamic Studies and the Richard S. Dinner Center for Jewish Studies. We are pleased to announce research grants for GTU students and scholars working on interreligious projects related to Judaism and/or Islam. Grants will range from $250 to $500 for individual projects and $500 to $1000 for joint projects, which are strongly encouraged.

Deadlines & Important Dates
The Friday of the first week of the semester at noon is the deadline for filing the Cross Registration form in the GTU Consortial Registrar’s Office. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this deadline.
Over time the Graduate Theological Union and UC Berkeley have confirmed their relationship by developing two programs for cross-registration that reflect the mutual respect which they have for each other and that create extensive opportunities for the exchange of ideas, enriching both the UCB students and the students in the GTU community.
The Cooperative Program is limited to GTU PhD students who have been approved by the Graduate Division at UCB for course work only.
