Grants will range from $250 to $500 for individual projects and $500 to $1000 for joint projects, which are strongly encouraged. These grants were made possible through the generocity of the Walter and Elise Haas Fund, which has supported the Madrasa-Midrasha Program since its inception in 2008.
Congratulations to GTU student Aya Baron, who has been awarded a prestigious Wexner Graduate Fellowship to pursue rabbinical studies at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. Baron is currently earning her MA in association with our Richard S. Dinner Center for Jewish Studies.

The Richard S. Dinner Center for Jewish Studies (CJS) at the Graduate Theological Union (GTU) is pleased to offer a fellowship for Bay Area Jewish educators and community professionals. Established in 2017, the Jewish Community Fellowship provides full tuition for a single course at the Center for Jewish Studies, GTU. Participants in the fellowship will become part of a cohort of students exploring the intersection of critical studies and Jewish communal endeavors.
