Dr. Munir Jiwa to be Visiting Scholar at Stanford University (On Sabbatical January through June 2022)

Congratulations to Dr. Munir Jiwa, Director of the Center for Islamic Studies at the GTU, will be a Visiting Scholar at the Stanford University Abbasi Center for Islamic Studies while he is on sabbitical from the GTU January through June 2022.

From Stanford University: "While at Stanford, Dr. Jiwa will be a visiting scholar in Global Studies at the Abbasi Program in Islamic Studies, working on a manuscript on Islamophobia and the politics of belonging. He is looking forward to working with colleagues across disciplines, and especially grateful to learn from and with Dr. Rania Awaad at the Stanford School of Medicine."
