We have moved to self-booking of curbside appointments. Some of you may be familar with the LibCal software (if you reserved a seminar room in the library last year), and this will simplify the curbside pickup process.
First: Place any items you want on hold and wait for them to arrive at the hold shelf. Use the request button to select the books, and check the status of them using "Your Library Account." Generally, it takes a few business days for items to arrive on the hold shelf, but it could be longer if you are requesting from multiple locations or if the item is in use by someone else.
Then: After your books have arrived on the hold shelf, reserve a time in LibCal to pick them up. Please note: You will recieve email notifications when each of your items arrive at the hold shelf. Please limit the number of times you come to the library to once a week, if possible. If you are coming to the library for an in-library study appointment, we will have your holds for you at that time.

Curbside pickup at UC-Berkeley libraries
GTU member school students, faculty, and staff can now pick up materials from UC-Berkeley Libraries.
To set up or renew your UCB library card
GTU students and faculty can renew existing and request to set-up new library accounts remotely since the libraries remain closed to in person services. They can email privileges email@example.com with the following information: full legal name (including middle name if they have one), preferred name if different, mailing address, email, telephone number, and proof of current enrollment or employment at GTU. Proof of enrollment could be a screen shot of your class schedule.
If they are renewing an existing account they should also include their current library card number.
Please note: this service is not available to community patrons, alumni, ATLA reciprocal borrowers, or other categories of cardholders, but borrowing cards can be purchased from UCB directly.
As with our curbside service, please request as early as you can. Items may take several days to be pulled, depending on volume.
