Cash is the most common way of giving because it is so simple. A gift of cash can be deducted up to 50% of your adjusted gross income if you itemize your deductions. Any amount that exceeds these limits may be carried forward for up to five years. Outright gifts of cash are immediately available for use by the Graduate Theological Union.
