Dr. Bilimoria was Chancellor's Scholar and Visiting Professor at the University of California, Berkeley before joining the GTU; he is honorary professor at the Deakin University and senior fellow at Melbourne University in Australia. His research interests include Contemporary and Classical Indian Philosophy; Comparative Philosophy & Ethics; Post-Colonial Studies; Psychology of Emotions; Indic Cross-Cultural Studies; Hindu and Indian Ethics; Indian and Hindu Diaspora Studies. He has taught on four continents, is the editor-in-chief of the journal Sophia, and is known internationally for his work on Indian Philosophy and Ethics.
