Caroline McCall

Director of Field Education and Assistant Professor of Congregational Studies

Consortial Faculty
At the GTU since
2016

Teaching is a way of sharing and exploring things I am passionate about – with the hope that those I teach will find joy and energy from learning with me. I believe healthy leadership and vital congregations are necessary for the witness of our faith. I am also convinced that the work of congregational development and leadership is part of creating the Kingdom of God. I teach at CDSP so that I can provide our students with tools, skills, and knowledge that will prepare them to serve as leaders in whatever form their vocation takes.  I love to learn with and from those I teach – while teaching I receive new insights, am inspired to ask new questions, and deepen my own thinking.
