Moshe Taube is Professor Emeritus at the Hebrew University, where he taught in the departments of Linguistics and of German, Russian and East European Studies. His research spands Yiddish grammar, Slavic philology and medieval translations from Hebrew into East Slavic (Russian & Ruthenian). His books include The Logika of the Judaizers: A Fifteenth Centur Ruthenian Translation from Hebrew (A Critical Edition), and the forthcoming The Slavic Version of "The Secret of Secrets" (A Critical Edition).
