"Jews Out of the Question: A Critique of Anti-Anti-Semitism"

Dr. Elad Lapidot is a professor for philosophy and Talmud at University of Bern, Switzerland. He is regularly teaching at the Humboldt Universität, Freie Univeristät, Universität der Künste, Selma Stern Center for Jewish Studies, Touro College and Zacharias Frankel College in Berlin. His work is situated between contemporary, mainly continental philosophy and rabbinic thought, and is guided by questions concerning the relation between epistemology and politics. Main current research projects: Epistemology of Inter-Religious Conflicts, Talmud and Contemporary Thought, Levinas’ Talmudic Readings: Hermeneutics, Ethics, Politics. Among his publications: Heidegger and Jewish Thought: Difficult Others, edited with M. Brumlik (London/New York: Rowman & Littlefield, 2018); translation in Hebrew, with introduction and commentary (with R. Bar), G.W.F.
