Uriah Kim Named Academic Dean at Hartford Seminary

Hartford Seminary President Heidi Hadsell announced Monday that The Rev. Dr. Uriah Kim, Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible, has been appointed to a three-year term as Academic Dean of Hartford Seminary.

Hadsell praised Kim for the dedication, skill and enthusiasm that he has brought to the position since he became interim dean in August. The new appointment is retroactive to July 1.

Uriah KimMarch 30, 2011 - Uriah Y. Kim (Ph.D. ’04), Professor of Hebrew Bible at Hartford Seminary, has received a prestigious 2011-2012 Lilly Theological Research Grant for his new book, The Politics of Othering in the Book of Judges.
