Paul Bradshaw Professor, Department of Theology, University of Notre Dame
The Rev. Dr. Paul Bradshaw is one of only two people ever to have been president of both the North American Academy of Liturgy and the international body Societas Liturgica. He has also published extensively on the subject of Christian liturgy, having written or edited more than 20 books and over 90 essays or articles. His major books include Daily Prayer in the Early Church, The Search for the Origins of Christian Worship, and Eucharistic Origins.
A prepared response will follow, given by members of the liturgical studies faculty at the Graduate Theological Union. Following these addresses, there will be an opportunity for further response and comment from members of the audience.
The Associated Parishes for Liturgy and Mission (APLM), an independent organization sometimes described as "a liturgical Think Tank", directed by a Council made up of clergy and lay members of The Episcopal Church and The Anglican Church of Canada presents its inaugural colloquium at CDSP. APLM is pleased to welcome Dr. Bradshaw for this inaugural event.
