Sundance Film Festival Winner, The Education of Shelby Knox, is directed by Marion Lipschutz and Rose Rosenblatt. It follows the story of a 15-year-old girl's transformation from conservative Southern Baptist to liberal Christian and ardent feminist and parallels her fight for sex education and gay rights in Lubbock, Texas.
Members from the Shelby Knox Project at Active Voice will guide our discussion following the film.
