Please join the Pacific School of Religions Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies for a reception in honor of Rev. Deborah L. Johnson. This reception is free and open to the public!

Rev. Deborah L. Johnson is the founding minister and president of Inner Light Ministries, the founder and president of The Motivational Institute, and a life-long social justice activist. Rev. Deborah is a faculty member at several institutes of higher learning, including UCLA and the Pacific School of Religion.

Rev. Deborah is teaching the Certificate of Sexuality and Religion course entitled “Race and Sexual Orientation.” This course explores race and sexual orientation as social constructs, examines the intersection of race and sexual orientation, and provides skills for building a more racially and sexually inclusive society.
