Mark Bowman, coordinator of the LGBT Religious Archives Network (LGBT-RAN), will demonstrate the ground-breaking work this group is doing to preserve LGBT religious history and to encourage scholarly study in this arena. LGBT-RAN has unfolded over the past five years as a unique electronic information clearinghouse on LGBT religious history. LGBT-RAN's web site (http://www.lgbtran.org), essentially a "virtual" archive, includes a wide array of resources for historical study covering the past sixty years.
