Required program overview sessions for incoming Ph.D. and Th.D. students for fall 2008.
New doctoral orientation sessions include a program overview, library information, faculty panel, reception with the Centers and Institutes, as well as information about the administration of the program highlighting the excitement of registration, financial aid, health insurance, area meetings, UCB and GTU campus tours (where is the bookstore?), culminating with a lunch with veteran student "buddies."
