Bowen H. ‘Buzz’ Mc Coy is a real estate and business counselor, philanthropist, and educator, teaching courses on business ethics, and Christian theology and literature, at graduate business schools, churches and seminaries. A former partner at Morgan Stanley, he has authored scores of magazine articles, including the Harvard Business Review classic, The Parable of the Sadhu, in which he ponders the differences between corporate and individual ethics after encountering a dying pilgrim on a climbing trip in the Himalayas. He recently published the book, Living Into Leadership.
The annual McCoy Memorial Lecture on Religion, Ethics, and Public Life honors Pacific School of Religion professor and founder of the Graduate Theological Union’s Center for Ethics and Social Policy Dr. Charles S. McCoy (1923-2002).
